ONE TO ONE COACHING

This is what a Calm Edge life feels like.

Clear. Present. Responsive rather than reactive. The wave moves through you instead of taking you under. You help yourself first, so you can actually be there for everyone else. Part mentoring, part training, part coaching. At the speed you take it in.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

You know which column you are in. And you know which one you want.

RIGHT NOW

The noise is louder than the answers.

  • You react and then spend time recovering from the reaction
  • You manage the same pattern at work, at home, in relationships, on repeat
  • You understand what is happening and still cannot stop it in the moment
  • The wave arrives and it takes the wheel before you have decided anything
  • You carry other people’s states because you have not fully settled into your own
  • You are helping others before you have helped yourself — and everyone can feel it
  • The answers you are looking for seem just out of reach, somewhere behind the noise

THE CALM EDGE

The answers were always there.

  • You feel the wave. You let it move through you. You are still standing

  • Responses & actions come from a settled place rather than the first thing the pattern offers
  • You are present in conversations without bracing for where they might go
  • You help yourself first — and from that place, being there for others is real
  • The noise reduces enough that the answers you already have become audible
  • Work, relationships, parenting, health — the same person, in a different state
  • Not a personality transplant. Not perfection. A life with significantly less unnecessary friction in it

THE HARD TRUTH

If you already had the answers, you would have made the changes.

That is not a criticism. It is just true. The fact that you have not is not a reflection of your effort, your intelligence, or your willingness to change. You have plenty of all three. What has been missing is the map.

Most people were never shown the basics. Not because nobody cared, but because nobody around them knew either. Most of the patterns you are running were not chosen. They were built from what was available at the time. And they have been running on their own ever since, largely unchallenged, because challenging a pattern you have never been given a framework for is extraordinarily difficult.

“I do not expect you to have the answers if you have never been shown the basics. That is what this is for.”

This is not about discovering what is wrong with you. It is about learning what you were never taught, at the pace that works for you — taking it in, not taking it on.

WHAT THIS IS

This is not just coaching.

Coaching assumes you have the answers and need someone to draw them out. Sometimes that is true. Often you are missing a piece the coaching conversation cannot provide because it was never in the room. This is three things working together.

MENTORING

Someone who has been there.

Nolan has lived the patterns he works with. The business failure. The fifteen years of carrying it. The gradual understanding of what was actually running. That experience is in the room with you. Not as a story to share, but as a perspective on what is possible when the noise reduces.

TRAINING

The map you were never given.

The Calm Edge framework — the four core states, the reaction types, the Experience Loop — is not something you figure out alone. It is taught. Once you have it, you can see your own patterns clearly. Before you have it, you are navigating without one. The pros get their basics down first.

COACHING

Applied directly to you.

The framework is universal. Your pattern is specific. The coaching brings the two together — your actual situation, your actual state, the actual place where the wave arrives and takes the wheel. That is where the work happens. Finding out what you need can only come from one place. You.

THE WAVE

The goal is not to stop the wave.

The goal is to be the person who lets it pass through rather than the person it capsizes. That is a different goal entirely — and it changes what the work looks like. And what your life can look like.

When the noise reduces, something happens that people do not always expect. The answers they were looking for — about what to do, how to respond, what actually matters — start arriving on their own. Not because the external situation changed. Because they are no longer processing it through a system running on old, inaccurate information.

The Calm Edge is not a state you perform. It is a state you live in. And from that state, you help yourself first — so that when you show up for the people and things that matter, you are actually there. Not managing. Not bracing. There.

That is what this work is for. And the pace is yours. Take it in. Not on.

FROM NOLAN

“I work at the speed that you take it in. Some people move fast. Some people need more time with a particular piece before it lands. Neither is wrong. The work is not on a schedule — it is on you.”

“What I can tell you is that the moment the framework clicks — when you can see the state that is running and recognise it as a departure, not a verdict — everything changes. You do not need to fight the wave anymore. You just need to know it is a wave.”

“If I look at your application and I do not think this is the right fit, I will tell you honestly. And I will tell you what I think would be more useful. I am not interested in eight weeks of conversation that produces insight you already have.”

WHAT TO EXPECT

Sessions run from 30 to 90 minutes depending on what is needed. This is not therapy with a timer. There is no session that ends at the 50-minute mark because the hour is up. The session ends when the work for that session is done. Eight sessions over eight weeks. That structure is fixed unless something significant happens on your end.

High ones. This works, and that means doing the work between sessions, not just attending them. The books are part of the programme. Reading them is expected as part of the program, or listening once the audio versions are released, and the more grounded you are in the framework before we start, the more ground we can cover. If you have already read the books, the coaching can address more situations more quickly because we are not spending session time on the fundamentals.

You will be asked to observe your patterns between sessions, apply specific tools, and bring what you notice back into the room. Showing up is not enough. Engaging is.

Part of what the programme builds is the ability to articulate what you are struggling with, not just experience it. Many people arrive knowing something is wrong and not knowing how to name it precisely. By the end of the eight weeks, that changes. You understand the mechanism. You can see the pattern when it fires. You have specific tools for the specific situations where it costs you most. That is not aspirational. It is functional. This is skills training applied to your actual life. Not motivational. Not inspirational. Practical.

Access to Nolan via email and WhatsApp for the full duration of the programme. Not for ongoing therapy or processing. For the moments when something comes up between sessions that you want to flag, a quick question about applying the framework, or a situation where a brief response makes the next session more productive.

No. This is not therapy and it is not counselling, and it is important that is clear before you apply. It is skills training applied to your life. The distinction matters: therapy explores what happened and why. This work teaches you to recognise what is happening in your system right now and gives you specific tools to respond differently. The two work well alongside each other. They are not the same thing.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Eight sessions over eight weeks. Between-session support via email and WhatsApp. Three personalised guided sessions, built around your specific patterns and designed to work at the level where patterns are stored. Access to the FLOWS private training for life areas, once it is available. And if you are not already a member, the full lifetime membership ($97 value) is included — every book, every course, and live weekly training with Nolan.

The books are the homework. The coaching is the application.

Two options for ongoing support. One-to-one continued support at $1,000 per month: a session when something specific comes up, not a standing weekly appointment. Group coaching at $500 per month: live sessions with a small group, the framework applied to shared situations, Nolan active in it. Neither is required. Both are there for people who want continued structured support beyond the programme.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

Pay in full at $5,000, or two payments of $2,505 (the first on confirmation, the second at the start of week five). Both options give full access to everything from day one.

There are no refunds. When you join this programme, I commit my time, attention, and availability to you for the full eight weeks. That commitment is real from day one. If you have concerns before you join, or at any point during the programme, the right move is a direct conversation. I am not interested in having clients who feel stuck or dissatisfied and not saying so. Talk to me. That is what the WhatsApp access is for.

If after 8 weeks you are struggling in some areas I may offer a continuation at my discretion as long as there is indication of the work being done between sessions.

The eight-week structure is fixed. It is not a rolling arrangement and it does not extend unless there is a genuine and significant disruption on your side. The structure exists for a reason: patterns change through consistent, applied work over a defined period. Open-ended programmes tend to drift. This one does not.

Apply. Nolan reads every application personally. If he does not think this is the right programme for where you are, he will tell you directly and point you toward what he thinks would be more useful. He is not interested in running eight weeks of conversation that produces insight you already have. The application conversation exists to make sure both sides are clear before any commitment is made.

Start with a short message.

Describe the pattern you are working with, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping will be different. Why now? Four sentences is enough to start a conversation. I read every application personally and respond directly.
